• Provide high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to patients facing conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring cultural competence and respect for diversity.
• Collaborate with fellow professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources, facilitating empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Uphold ethical standards of practice by maintaining patient confidentiality, obtaining informed consent, and adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

The LCSW will work primarily with a diverse clientele seeking mental health support in a community health clinic setting. This includes individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and life experiences. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, demonstrating clinical competency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong clinical skills, capable of conducting detailed assessments and developing personalized treatment strategies.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and coordinate care efficiently.
• Deep understanding of various mental health conditions and effective treatment methodologies.
• Ability to adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice while ensuring confidentiality.

Experience working within a community health setting is highly desired. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record management is advantageous, as is experience in a diverse clinical environment where cultural competence is required.
