Job description

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the outdoors, powersports, or marine industries? Do you thrive on building strong dealer relationships, driving growth in a dynamic territory, and being on the front lines of an exciting brand?

As Regional Sales Manager for Whisper/Landmaster in the North Central US, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our dealer network and delivering exceptional wholesale and retail sales performance. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of active dealers while recruiting, onboarding, and developing new partners who will represent our high-quality, work-ready UTVs and related products. This is a high-impact, business advisor sales role for someone who loves the challenge of the sale, understands dealership operations inside and out, and wants to contribute directly to a growing American-made brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing dealers through regular engagement, order generation, and ongoing sales support.
  • Partner with the National Sales Director to identify, recruit, sign, onboard, and train new dealers to meet aggressive growth targets across the North Central region.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan designed to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including monthly wholesale and retail sales objectives by dealer.
  • Conduct gap analyses by monitoring market conditions, pinpointing obstacles and opportunities, and creating, implementing, and tracking targeted Dealer Development Plans.
  • Deliver impactful onsite sales training, including effective use of dealer portal tools and best practices in dealership operations.
  • Manage dealer inventory levels, including transfers, and oversee company assets such as trucks, trailers, and demo units in the territory.
  • Lead or participate in trade shows, dealer events, and exhibits to promote the brand and generate excitement.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing valuable feedback to management and engineering teams to drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with customer support personnel to ensure seamless service and satisfaction.
  • Maintain ethical standards and foster cooperative relationships that reflect positively on the company’s image and goals.

What Success Looks Like

You will be measured on achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets, successful dealer recruitment and retention, effective territory management, and positive dealer feedback. This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to see your efforts directly impact revenue growth in a fast-evolving market.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Marine, Outdoor Power Equipment, Powersports, or similar dealership operations.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of building relationships and closing deals.
  • Strong customer service orientation and initiative.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and technical applications (CRM, dealer portals, etc.).
  • General mechanical knowledge and comfort with product demonstrations.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive truck/trailer combinations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% (typically 3-4 nights per week) and work weekends as needed for dealer events and trade shows.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or 3+ years of relevant sales experience with a dealer organization or consumer product company (or equivalent combination).

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a Regional Sales Manager or similar field sales role within powersports, outdoor power equipment, Marine, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, dealer training programs, and trade show participation.

What You'll Love About This Role

  • Autonomy & Impact — Own your territory and directly influence growth for an innovative, American-made brand.
  • Dynamic Environment — Blend relationship-building, strategic planning, hands-on training, and on-the-road excitement.
  • Growth Opportunity — Join a company expanding through strategic acquisitions (including the recent integration of Landmaster UTVs) with strong momentum in premium utility vehicles.
  • Competitive Compensation — Attractive base salary plus performance incentives (specifics discussed during interview process).

With a growing national dealer network, we're committed to quality, innovation, and supporting our dealers as true partners. If you’re energized by outdoor mobility, dealer success, and building something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a field-based role with extensive travel and regular visits to dealerships. You’ll routinely use standard office equipment and must be able to load/unload demo units from trailers.

Expected Hours

Full-time salaried position with flexible hours based on business needs, including evenings and weekends for events.

We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from all qualified candidates.
