Brand Manager - Canada (18-Month Contract) (Remote)

This position is expected to begin in November 2026.

Role Objectives:

As the Brand Manager - Canada, you will support the business performance, strategic growth, and portfolio profitability of an assigned portfolio within the Canadian market. You will be responsible for translating global brand strategy to Canada, from integrated marketing campaigns to strong retail execution. You will be the day-to-day lead for your portfolio, making key operational decisions and driving actions to support strong business performance.

Qualifications:

         5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related

         University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

         Experience in brand building, category support, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns

         Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to support business performance, reporting, and marketing decision-making

         Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against timelines

         Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across internal teams and external partners

         Experience in consumer products or toys is an asset.

 

Responsibilities: 

Brand Management

         Support the development of brand plans, including product line recommendations, retailer distribution inputs, and promotional planning to support commercial objectives.

         Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across product launches, spanning media, digital, social, PR, influencer, retail, and experiential channels.

         Manage day-to-day agency activities including briefing, timelines, asset delivery, and performance tracking to ensure execution against plan.

         Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and consumer trends and provide insights and recommendations to support brand positioning and campaign effectiveness.

         Conduct post-campaign analysis and share key learnings and recommendations to improve future planning and performance.

Commercial Ownership

         Support portfolio financial performance management, including monitoring pricing, forecasting, and budget tracking, and providing input to decision-making.

         Contribute to annual business planning and long-term growth strategies through analysis, reporting, and recommendations.

         Analyze sales trends, market data, and competitive activity to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

         Support management of external licensor relationships by tracking deliverables and ensuring alignment on key milestones.

         Partner with Global stakeholders by preparing data, insights, and recommendations to support Canadian market representation and planning discussions.

Cross-Functional Partnership

         Partner closely with Sales to support retail strategy development and contribute to customer sell-in through category storytelling and marketing support materials.

         Support planning and execution of key trade moments including Toy Fair, trade shows, and customer meetings.

         Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support alignment and execution of shared business goals.

Work Hours

8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday

8:30am - 3:00pm, Friday

30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.

Travel

Travel is required 15% within Ontario and internationally  

Salary Band

CAD $100,000-110,000

Physical Demands

         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items

         Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time

         Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work

         Light to moderate lifting is required

         Frequently communicates with other employees and third-parties, must be able to speak clearly and exchange accurate information.

         Regular, predictable attendance is required
