Job description

Who We Are

At Rhone, we cultivate a work culture that is empowering and rooted in our core values. We are gritty, approaching challenges with resilience and determination. We are responsible, holding ourselves accountable to each other and the work we do. We strive for excellence, pushing boundaries to deliver our best every day. We remain authentic, embracing honesty, humility, and individuality. And above all, we are team centered, knowing that true success comes from collaboration and shared purpose.

About The Role

Rhone is looking for an experienced, driven and strategic National Sales Manager to lead and grow Rhone’s Specialty and Resort/Country Club (Golf) businesses. This is a leadership role with direct reports – you’ll build and manage a team of regional account executives while also owning some key accounts and setting the strategic direction for both Specialty and Resort/CC channels. You’ll be responsible for hitting revenue targets, and for working in collaboration with the VP of Sales to design the organizational structure, ways of working and operating models that allow these businesses to scale.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership and People Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of regional sales representatives
across specialty and resort and golf channels
  • Set clear individual and team performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide
    ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales
    team

Sales Management & Channel Support

  • In partnership with VP of Sales, implement the optimal structure for specialty and golf – defining
territory structure, account good - better - best segmentation, and rep-to-account ratios
  • Build the operating infrastructure for the channel: GTM approach, trade show schedule and
    presence, reporting and performance standards
  • Establish clear distribution guidelines and guardrails that protect brand positioning and prevent
    channel conflict
  • Own and operate book of specific high-profile accounts and/or territory as assigned by VP of
    Sales

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the internal voice of specialty and golf channels – bringing market intelligence,
competitive insights and partner feedback into planning, merchandising and design processes
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop co-op programs, in-store branding, trade show presence
and activations that drive brand awareness and sell-through
  • Partner with product teams to inform seasonal needs, exclusives, and capsule opportunities
relevant to Rhone’s golf and specialty consumer
  • Work with teams cross-functionally on Rhone MAP policies execution and implementation

Operations & Forecasting

  • Manage the full order lifecycle in coordination with ops and planning to ensure on-time delivery
    and high fill rates
  • Provide accurate seasonal forecasting and demand planning inputs to support upfront buys and
    inventory management
  • Participate and engage with sales, ops and finance on monthly – quarterly – annually projection
    conversations

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of wholesale sales experience in premium apparel, activewear or lifestyle brands
  • 3+ years of direct people management with a proven track record of building and developing
    teams
  • Demonstrated success growing specialty and/or golf accounts with measurable revenue results
  • Experience designing or significantly contributing to sales org structure with measurable revenue
    results
  • Deep relationships within the specialty, resort and/or golf ecosystem
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 360, NuOrder, and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 25 pounds required

What You'll Get

  • Competitive compensation

  • Health, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits

  • 401(k) with company incentive savings plan

  • 10 company holidays annually

  • Discretionary time off policy

  • Career growth and advancement opportunities

  • Clothing discount plus semi-annual gift card allotment
