Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will involve a combination of direct client care and collaborative team efforts:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the specific needs of clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Engage proactively with clients through remote sessions, focusing on creating a therapeutic environment that fosters trust and open communication.
• Participate in treatment planning by conducting evidence-based assessments and developing integrated care plans that prioritize client involvement and empowerment.
• Monitor client progress, manage caseloads effectively, and ensure compliance with admission and discharge criteria.
• Assist in crisis intervention efforts, utilizing your expertise to address immediate client needs and prevent escalation.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings and committees, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Complete necessary documentation and data entries promptly, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients facing the challenges of substance use disorders, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. Your role is crucial for improving patient outcomes by providing tailored support and connections to essential services, ensuring holistic recovery paths for individuals in our detox program. Understanding diverse traditions and beliefs is vital to your work as you interact with a broad range of clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members.
• Proficient organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and handle various interpersonal styles.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, with a demonstrated history of working with similar populations.
• Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are highly desirable to better serve our client base.

Compensation and Benefits
