Job description

Position Overview

Emotional Resilience Therapeutic Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This is a full-time role that offers the unique opportunity to provide culturally sensitive mental health care to a diverse client base. As an LCSW, you will intervene to alleviate psychological distress while promoting resilience and emotional well-being among individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Emotional Resilience Therapeutic Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough mental health assessments that involve psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand the unique needs of each client.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific needs, goals, and cultural contexts.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), across individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings.
  • Offering crisis intervention services for individuals in acute distress, ensuring a coordinated approach to care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough clinical documentation, which includes progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, while adhering to all relevant regulatory and clinic guidelines.
  • Delivering psychoeducation to clients and their families to empower them with the skills necessary to manage mental health challenges effectively.
  • Working collaboratively with a diverse team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to provide comprehensive care.
  • Conducting regular evaluations of treatment effectiveness and adjusting plans as needed based on patient feedback and outcome assessments.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working closely with a wide range of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will be instrumental in providing support to individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will enhance the emotional resilience of your clients, allowing them to navigate their mental health journeys with confidence and support.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proficiency in both independent and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences would enhance your application:

  • Previous experience in a community health setting or with remote therapy practices.
  • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
