Work Environment

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in work hours while primarily working from an outpatient office environment when necessary. Our integrated outpatient counseling center provides a supportive atmosphere dedicated to client care. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will effectively connect with clients on an appointment basis to meet their therapeutic needs. Regular meetings with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, will enhance your collaborative practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to establish tailored treatment plans that address each client's specific needs and goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across varied modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records in compliance with all ethical standards and legal regulations, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently.
• Collaborate proactively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic model of care that leads to improved client outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying informed about current best practices and advancements within the mental healthcare field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will primarily work with adults, families, and couples facing diverse mental health challenges. Your expertise in areas like trauma, substance abuse, and relational issues will guide your approach as you provide personalized treatment that promotes healing and growth in your clients' lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience delivering counseling services, preferably in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and best practices related to counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working successfully within a collaborative healthcare team and familiarity with EMR documentation processes is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
