As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker on our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans in accordance with established best practices.
• Providing high-quality psychotherapy services utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), always tailored to the unique needs of students and families.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical records that comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with a diverse treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to improve clinical practice and patient care quality continuously.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in the recovery process.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health to integrate new knowledge into clinical practice effectively.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school setting, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and family dynamics. Your ability to connect with young individuals and their families is vital for creating positive therapeutic relationships and fostering resilience.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Holding a valid Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possessing an active California license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Having at least two years of clinical experience, specifically in delivering psychotherapy services to diverse populations.
• Exhibiting a solid understanding of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues effectively.
• Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking to navigate complex clinical scenarios.
• A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience working within an educational setting or with school-aged clients.
• Advanced training in mental health interventions or crisis management.
• Familiarity with virtual counseling technology and remote therapeutic practices.
