We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated marketing intern to join our Pool Solutions marketing department. If you're an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in brand management or marketing, then we want to work with you. You will collaborate and lead various brand projects and initiatives including creating promotional presentations, monitoring social media platforms, and conducting market analysis for the residential pool and spa categories. As a Marketing Intern at Pool Solutions, you'll report directly to the Associate Brand Director. In this role, you'll contribute to driving the continued success of the world's leading pool brand. This internship is remote based, ideally suited for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone within the United States.


In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on the latest trends and industry insights. Research and evaluate competitor marketing strategies and digital content to gain insights and competitive advantages.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the marketing department.
  • Project Lead: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of diverse digital & activation projects and initiatives.
  • Social Media Monitoring: Keep a vigilant eye on all social media platforms, tracking trending news, emerging ideas, and gathering valuable feedback.
  • Agency and Developer Coordination: Act as a liaison between internal teams and external agencies and developers, facilitating seamless task coordination.
  • Digital Marketing Research: Conduct research and audits related to digital marketing platforms and tools, providing valuable insights for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Role is remote-based.
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or similar field.
  • This role is expected to be 40 hours per week, with some flexibility around specific hours worked.
  • The initial commitment for this role is 3-4 months, with the possibility of extending.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
