The Administrative Assistant efficiently handles a variety of tasks that assist all departments within our company. This position will be an on-site position at GPI's Sumter, SC office. Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
  • Prepare and distribute routine management reports, as well as reports requested by leadership
  • Review and process employee timesheets and expense reports
  • Provide support to the accounting department as needed
  • Prepare and process client invoices in accordance with contract terms, client specifications, and company procedures to ensure timely billing and revenue recognition
  • Maintain project records, including ordering Certificates of Insurance in accordance with contract requirements and maintain related compliance documentation.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required (College is a plus)
  • Experience in Administrative and Accounting tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude while maintaining productivity and focus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact confidently with clients, peers, and senior management

  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
