Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team at the Roubicek and Thacker Family Counseling Service. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mental health support, engaging with a diverse client demographic to foster therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you flexibility in your schedule while enabling you to make a profound impact on clients' lives from the comfort of your home. While working remotely, you will be integrated into a collaborative team environment where communication and teamwork are key. Evening and weekend hours may be required to accommodate clients' schedules and commitments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, strengths, and challenges.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities tailored to our clients’ needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, setting measurable goals, and outlining specific therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for clients.
  • Facilitating crisis intervention strategies, performing risk assessments, and creating safety plans for clients in acute distress.
  • Maintaining meticulous, confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards to ensure compliant reporting practices.
  • Leading psychoeducational classes and support groups, offering a platform for shared experiences and collective healing.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele you will serve at our hospice center comprises individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Our patients range in age and background, each requiring a unique approach tailored to their individual circumstances. You will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals as they navigate their healing journeys, providing not only therapeutic interventions but also emotional support and resources.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and comprehensive assessment skills.
Preferred Experience
