Housekeeper Part-Time

This position is ideal for someone who is available Part-time (30 hours/week) and are available on weekends. Your shift will be from 9am-3:30pm. $15.00 per hour.

We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail.

The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

  • The main function of a Housekeeper is to perform cleaning duties to keep the environment neat and pleasant. They maintain cleanliness in line with management or homeowner’s requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
  • Safely performs all housekeeping procedures in accordance with policies and regulations, including but not limited to: clean, sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust, disinfect, wash laundry, empty trash, strip and make beds, wash windows, clean restrooms, clean carpet, etc., as needed.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • You might spend time changing the sheets on patients' beds, mopping up spills in public areas such as siting room and dining room furniture.
  • Have the ability to maintain a professional and positive appearance and interact positively with supervisor, co-workers and client staff.
  • Uses and maintains housekeeping supplies and equipment safely and efficiently. Reports equipment malfunctions and any observed areas in poor repair to supervisor.
  • Responsible for staying abreast of current laws, regulations, policies, procedures and best practices and adapting to Company and industry changes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of English language
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Employee must maintain regular attendance.
  • Must meet all local health regulations. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
  • This position requires physical activity to perform the daily duties, and the Housekeeper must be able to move continuously throughout the workday
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, push, pull, move, bend, kneel, stoop, squat a maximum of 50lbs, and lift/carry a maximum of 30lbs.
