Job Description

Position Summary
We are seeking a ServiceNow HRSD Technical Business Analyst to support enterprise HR Service Delivery engagements for large clients. This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who is comfortable working in complex environments, can confidently lead discovery and requirements sessions, and can translate business needs into clear, testable, developer-ready requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery sessions and gather business requirements.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Develop user journeys and workflow designs.
  • Translate requirements into:
    • Epics
    • User stories
    • Acceptance criteria
    • Functional specifications
    • Workflow documentation
    • UAT materials
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, project managers, product owners, and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, prioritized, feasible, and traceable throughout delivery.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
  • Participate in stakeholder reviews and solution validation sessions.
  • Assist with testing efforts and user acceptance testing preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience working on ServiceNow projects.
  • Meaningful experience supporting ServiceNow HRSD implementations.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience documenting business processes and workflow requirements.
  • Experience supporting testing and solution validation activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams.
  • Comfortable discussing portal, knowledge management, case management, and workflow requirements.

Preferred Certifications

  • Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
  • Active CIS-HR certification preferred and highly valued for client-ready submission.
  • Additional ServiceNow implementation certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise consulting engagements, major transformation programs, or large multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with HR operations and HR service delivery processes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow HRSD modules including:
    • Employee Center
    • Case and Knowledge Management
    • Lifecycle Events
