• Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships by establishing trust and rapport with clients through active listening and empathy.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating their unique circumstances, goals, and preferences.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients, employing diverse therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, or solution-focused therapy to facilitate progress.
• Assess and monitor client progress continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure the most effective care.
• Document and maintain detailed, confidential records of client interactions and treatment approaches in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

As an LMFT at Self Care Learning Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals, couples, and families who are facing various psychological and relational challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, and parenting concerns. Your expertise will help clients develop coping strategies, improve communication, and enhance their overall quality of life.

• Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.

• Experience in providing individual, couple, and group therapy, demonstrating versatility in treatment approaches.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills that ensure efficient handling of caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
