Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients through video chat sessions, providing individual counseling to help improve their mental health.
• Encourage clients to share their emotions and personal experiences, facilitating deeper insight into their feelings and interpersonal relationships.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, guiding them in defining realistic and achievable mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold full licensure by the state board in good standing to practice independently. Accepted licenses include:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature to effectively connect with clients.
• Proficiency in using technology and counseling platforms for remote therapy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience working in teletherapy or a remote counseling capacity is highly preferred. Familiarity with blended therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Ascend Medical Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a solid base salary, we also provide a sign-on bonus, unlimited referrals, and minimal administrative work—oriented relocation of marketing and billing tasks, further enhancing your earning opportunities.
