Position Overview

The Family Centered Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and licensed professionals to join our team as Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT). Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for various issues, including but not limited to grief, relationship conflicts, and adjustment to separation or divorce.
  • Facilitate family sessions to address systemic issues, such as blended family dynamics, communication difficulties, and family conflicts.
  • Utilize telehealth technology to provide consistent remote therapy services, engaging with clients across diverse populations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of each clientโ€™s progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that integrate mental and physical health resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client population will be diverse, comprising both adults and adolescents confronting various challenges, including:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Trauma and abuse recovery
  • Family conflicts and sibling rivalry
  • Adjustment to major life transitions, such as divorce or remarriage
  • Communication barriers within family units
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to client advocacy and confidentiality
Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a behavioral health setting, specifically working with couples and families
  • A background in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
