Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health conditions to form tailored treatment strategies that address individual needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, promoting personal growth and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapy goals and actively monitor their progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in regular staff meetings, team-building exercises, and one-on-one supervision with clinical supervisors to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to improve clinical skills and stay informed about innovative therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role provides an invaluable service to a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, including those seeking culturally responsive care tailored to clients of color and LGBTQIA communities. Your role significantly contributes to fostering resilience and recovery within these populations.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A current, valid state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.
• Expertise in working with couples, families, and youths, particularly with a focus on multicultural and inclusive practices.
