Typically, team meetings and supervision sessions are conducted during standard office hours to facilitate open dialogue among therapists.

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, providing a foundation for developing effective treatment plans.
• Create personalized therapy strategies utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address specific client goals and needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to explore their feelings, enhance emotional regulation, and develop coping skills.
• Regularly monitor client progress and reassess treatment plans in collaboration with the client, ensuring that therapeutic approaches remain effective and relevant.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote informed decision-making.
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients with complex needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity and traceability of client records.
• Participate actively in case consultations, training sessions, and ongoing professional development to refine skills and stay informed of the latest practices in the field of mental health.
• Champion mental health awareness and advocate for client needs within the community, contributing to efforts that diminish stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. • A current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is required for this position.

• The annual salary range for this role is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
