In this fully remote position based in Tualatin, Oregon, you will work primarily from home while engaging with a supportive virtual team. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct coaching and therapy sessions, providing essential services to clients in a detox center setting. Our aim is to create a positive and collaborative culture, encouraging staff input and participation in team strategies aimed at improving client outcomes.

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, addiction specialists, and counselors, to deliver a holistic approach to treatment.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development to foster a team-oriented environment.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele dealing with mental health issues and substance use disorders, particularly during their detox phase. You will be instrumental in creating a supportive environment that promotes recovery, stability, and personal growth. By utilizing culturally sensitive approaches, you will address the unique needs of each individual, fostering resilience and empowerment.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in the field of social work, particularly in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey empathy and understanding.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in crisis intervention strategies.

While the minimum experience required is two years, candidates with backgrounds in addiction counseling, mental health services, or experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings will be given preference. Familiarity with therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
