Job Description:

GDIT is seeking talented professionals for a variety of roles that all play a key part in supporting highquality patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical excellence. These positions span both clinical and nonclinical functions, and each role requires experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

If you have strong technical aptitude, a passion for improving the patient and provider experience, and hands-on experience with EHR platforms, we'd love to hear from you!

We are considering applicants for a range of current and future opportunities that require EHR experience.

Most roles are remote but may require some travel.

Key Responsibilities (will vary by position):

  • Accurately capture requirements, complete design, and implement EHR systems
  • Support clinical and functional health care teams through their use of EHR systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline workflows and optimize EHR usage
  • Identify and report data inconsistencies or documentation gaps
  • Participate in system updates, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting for EHR-related inquiries as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements (HIPAA and organizational standards)
  • May supervise others

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (education may be substituted for years of experience)
  • Years of experience will vary per position
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, or similar platforms
  • Ability to follow established protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and digital workflow tools
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with the federal government, with IHS, DOW or VA strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare, medical administration, clinical support, or related roles
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology, documentation standards, and care delivery workflows
  • Experience supporting EHR training, optimization, or process improvement efforts
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation quality

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
