Work Environment

This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing you to provide essential services from the comfort of your own space. Meetings and client sessions can be conducted via secure telehealth platforms designed to ensure privacy and confidentiality. In this outpatient office role, you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about enhancing the mental health landscape. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate client needs, formulate treatment plans, and ensure appropriate interventions.
• Monitor and document client progress through regular sessions, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols based on real-time feedback.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions tailored for individual client needs, focusing on cognitive-behavioral techniques and other therapeutic methods.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions using electronic medical records systems, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about current trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from children to adults who experience a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship problems. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, providing customized care that respects their unique experiences and cultural contexts. This role allows you to play a pivotal part in fostering resilience and empowerment among our clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• An active clinical license (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) in California is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in the mental health field, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience in using them to document client sessions will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in a remote counseling role is preferred but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
