This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (React) in Netherlands.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced frontend engineer to contribute to the development of modern, scalable web applications in a fast-paced and product-driven environment. You will take ownership of building and maintaining user-facing features that directly shape the experience of complex SaaS solutions used in critical business contexts. The role emphasizes high-quality engineering practices, close collaboration with design and backend teams, and a strong focus on testing, performance, and maintainability. You will work with a modern React-based stack, translating sophisticated UI/UX designs into robust and efficient applications. The environment is highly collaborative, remote-first, and built around autonomy, feedback, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong technical execution with product thinking and who is passionate about delivering reliable, user-centric software at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user-facing features using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Build reusable, scalable UI components and frontend libraries that support long-term product evolution.
  • Collaborate closely with design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX and system architecture.
  • Translate complex Figma designs into responsive, performant, and accessible web interfaces.
  • Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX concepts while optimizing for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Take ownership of frontend code quality through code reviews, refactoring, and adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing strategies, including visual regression and end-to-end testing using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, and Chromatic.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues across the frontend application.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows, tooling, and frontend architecture.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment between product, design, and engineering goals.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development with strong core language knowledge.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript (5+ years) and React for building single-page applications.
  • Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches such as SCSS, Less, or CSS-in-JS.
  • Proven experience with GraphQL and Apollo in production environments.
  • Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalable UI design.
  • Strong experience with automated testing and visual regression tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, and Chromatic.
  • Experience working with UI frameworks such as Ant Design or TailwindCSS.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to take ownership of features and projects from design to production.
  • Nice to have: experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Chart.js, Google Charts), AWS, or React Native.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment within the CET time zone range.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote-first work environment with flexibility across Europe.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful SaaS products with real-world enterprise use cases.
  • Strong engineering culture focused on quality, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment with open communication and regular feedback.
  • Structured onboarding process with dedicated ramp-up support.
  • Regular team activities, gatherings, and a strong sense of community.
  • Startup-like environment with autonomy, ownership, and clear opportunities for growth.
