Job description

The Tow Truck Operator is responsible for safely recovering and towing all types of vehicles using flatbed tow trucks. This remote position requires the operator to have parking space at home for the truck and involves working various shifts including day, night, rotating, and on-call schedules. Responsibilities

  • Recover vehicles from accident scenes and breakdowns
  • Assist at accident scenes ensuring safety and proper protocol
  • Conduct towing operations using flatbed tow trucks
  • Load vehicles securely and perform vehicle inspections before transport
  • Maintain towing equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Interact professionally with customers and provide assistance
  • Navigate routes efficiently during varied shift schedules
  • Comply with all safety regulations and documentation requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in towing operations
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Towing Endorsement on driver’s license
