Position Overview

Omada Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our community health clinic, predominantly operating in a remote setting from Columbia, Maryland. This full-time position represents a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide critical mental health support to individuals and families, ensuring that they improve their overall mental wellness and interpersonal relationships.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, designed to cater to the needs of both our clients and staff. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions virtually, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Utilize comprehensive assessment tools to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and establish clear, achievable treatment plans.
  • Engage with clients collaboratively to identify and refine their treatment goals, while consistently tracking their progress towards these objectives.
  • Provide emergency crisis intervention when necessary, and facilitate referrals to additional resources or specialists if indicated.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation as per Maryland regulations, ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including training on the latest evidence-based therapeutic approaches and modalities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, trauma histories, and more. As an LMFT, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating healing and recovery, employing your expertise to navigate complex family dynamics and individual psychological needs.

Qualifications
  • Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Maryland.
  • A masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience providing outpatient mental health services, particularly in a community health or clinic setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a varied patient demographic, including clients from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy best practices.
  • Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
