Job description

Position: Project Manager (Engineering Projects) Location: Denver, Colorado 80223 Contract Duration: 12-Months Schedule: Standard business hours Hybrid Schedule: Monday & Friday: Remote/Tuesday–Thursday: Onsite Hourly Pay Rate: $52.50/hr. System One is seeking a Project Manager to support multiple projects by managing work orders, purchase orders, budgets, and project documentation. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, remain on schedule, and stay within budget while coordinating with internal stakeholders and project teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized professional with project coordination or engineering support experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage Work Orders (WOs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP.
  • Track project budgets and monitor project expenditures.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
  • Assist with project planning, reporting, and documentation.
  • Identify project issues and work with team members to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate project records using company systems and processes.
  • Support project managers with administrative and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of experience in project management, engineering support, or a related field.
  • Experience using SAP to create and manage Work Orders and Purchase Orders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Google Earth is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting utility, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience tracking project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
