As a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough behavioral health assessments for every new patient to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Providing ongoing management of patients’ psychiatric, psychosocial, and behavioral health needs through patient journeys, utilizing appropriate evidence-based techniques.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to create a safe space for patients to express themselves and work through their experiences.
• Collaborating with external behavioral health facilities to coordinate care, ensuring patients have access to comprehensive resources and support.
• Actively identifying and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

This position primarily focuses on patients managing substance use disorders and related behavioral health challenges. You will work with a diverse client population, addressing their psychological, social, and emotional needs, particularly within marginalized communities facing barriers to traditional care. Your expertise will guide individuals through recovery, helping them achieve personal goals and improve their overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Active and fully licensed status as LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based treatments tailored for behavioral health cases.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster trust and rapport with patients through effective communication.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a collaborative environment is required, candidates with 2-3 years of direct experience in substance use counseling and team-oriented settings may find themselves particularly suited for this role.
