Job description
Accurately code and abstract all clinic/emergency department/same day surgery/ 23-hour observations in a consistent, accurate and timely manner. Extensive knowledge in laboratory, radiology and medicine CPT codes. Must be very knowledgeable in the application of National Correct Coding Initiative edits as well as procedures for correcting charges in EPIC Billing and Accounts Receivable module. Follow the established policies and procedures for coding and of the department.

Qualifications
Required:
- One year hospital coding in healthcare setting
