Instructional Designer job at Beacon Engineering Resources. Remote. Instructional Designer We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join a dynamic engineering and technology organization dedicated to developing scalable, hands-on learning programs for technical professionals and project managers.

This role combines creativity and strategy to deliver impactful learning experiences that strengthen workforce capability and performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing meaningful, learner-centered training and has at least three years of experience in instructional design or a related field. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define learning objectives and performance outcomes.

Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance gaps to recommend effective learning solutions. Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led content, job aids, videos, and simulations. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks to create engaging, results-oriented learning experiences.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality learning solutions. Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis, learner feedback, and assessment results, implementing improvements as needed. Maintain consistency and quality across all training materials through content reviews and editing.

Support process optimization within the learning content development workflow. Identify and resolve challenges or blockers during project development. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or related areas. Proficiency with content development and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Xyleme, CAD, or Visio. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
