The Opportunity:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to lead the technical development and integration of Department of Defense systems. You'll create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of systems from concept throughout the product lifecycle. You'll apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge and develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity in support of hypersonic testing. You will work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees. Join our team and create the future of hypersonic testing in the United States Air Force.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities
  • Experience conducting system-level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements
  • Experience delivering complex aerospace hardware from concept to test
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with requirements derivation and definition
  • Experience with requirements validation and verification
  • Experience with a gated design review process
  • Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)
  • Knowledge of requirement management tools, including DOORS or JAMA

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
