Remote Racial Equity Jobs in Colorado (NOW HIRING)

Remote Racial Equity information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Racial Equity Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Racial Equity Specialist, you need a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), social justice frameworks, and relevant educational or professional experience in related fields. Familiarity with virtual collaboration platforms, data analysis tools, and DEI-specific assessment systems is often required. Outstanding communication, cultural competency, and facilitation skills are vital for building trust and driving meaningful conversations remotely. These competencies are essential to effectively advance racial equity initiatives, foster inclusive environments, and achieve measurable impact in distributed organizations.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in remote racial equity roles, and how can they be effectively addressed?

A key challenge for remote racial equity professionals is building trust and authentic relationships across diverse teams without regular in-person interactions. This can make it harder to facilitate open conversations about sensitive topics and to identify subtle workplace inequities. To address these issues, professionals should prioritize regular video meetings, utilize inclusive communication platforms, and create clear guidelines for virtual engagement. Additionally, fostering a safe space for dialogue and leveraging digital tools for anonymous feedback can help ensure all voices are heard and valued.

Their responsibilities may include developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, facilitating training or workshops, analyzing organizational policies for bias, and supporting efforts to address systemic inequalities. These professionals often collaborate with HR teams, leadership, and employee groups to create strategies that foster equitable environments. The remote aspect allows them to support organizations regardless of geographic location, making their expertise accessible to a wider range of clients and stakeholders.

Job description

ABOUT HAYS ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS

Hays Enterprise Solutions manages and strategically develops a defined portfolio of global clients across all Hays service lines and geographies — working at the C-suite level to increase market share, expand geographic reach, and deepen client loyalty. Our Outsource Services portfolio spans Managed Service Programs (MSP) and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), covering everything from product development and sales through delivery, supplier management, governance, compliance, and technology.

OUR NEW ROLE

We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our RPO partnership with a leading renewable energy company for a 3–6-month assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the interview and hiring process end to end — scheduling a high volume of interviews, managing logistics, preparing offer letters, initiating and monitoring background checks, and supporting onboarding activities. You will be the operational backbone of the hiring process, ensuring every candidate and hiring manager has a smooth, professional experience from first interview through day one.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO

Your day is built around keeping hiring moving. You’re the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks — from the moment a candidate is ready to interview to the day they walk in the door.

Interview & Hiring Process Coordination

  • Manage and drive the end-to-end interview process, ensuring timely progression of candidates at every stage
  • Schedule a high volume of interviews across multiple time zones and stakeholder groups
  • Coordinate all logistics — virtual meeting links, onsite interview rooms, travel arrangements where applicable, and candidate communications
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure alignment and smooth execution throughout each hiring stage

Offer & Pre-Employment Activities

  • Draft, prepare, and distribute offer letters with a high degree of accuracy
  • Initiate background checks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
  • Launch onboarding workflows and track completion of required documentation and tasks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates during the pre-hire and onboarding phases

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and data integrity within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support process improvements and documentation of recruiting workflows
  • Assist with reporting, metrics, and dashboards as needed
  • Contribute to special projects across the Talent Acquisition team — employer branding, process optimization, or event coordination

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or administrative roles — RPO experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience also considered
  • Experience with an ATS (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever) preferred
  • Familiarity with background check processes and onboarding systems is a plus

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and a high volume of moving parts simultaneously
  • Strong communicator — professional, clear, and confident with both candidates and senior stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of professional communication and confidentiality standards
  • Able to work quickly, accurately, and collaboratively as part of a distributed team
  • Comfortable working fully remote with strong self-management and follow-through

WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN

  • Hourly rate: $28.00/hour
  • Fully remote schedule
    • Competitively priced medical, vision, and dental plans
    • 401(k) with guaranteed match and fast-paced vesting schedule
