Remote RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) Administrators often face challenges such as ensuring secure remote access to mainframe environments, managing time zone differences when collaborating with global teams, and troubleshooting issues without direct physical access. Familiarity with IBM mainframe tools, RACF command syntax, TSO/ISPF, and security auditing systems is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication are important soft skills for troubleshooting and collaborating with remote teams. These abilities ensure secure, compliant, and efficient management of sensitive system access in a critical infrastructure role.
