Job summary
This is a mid-level Quality position responsible for managing all aspects of Quality across and within multiple divisions.
Must be detail oriented and hands-on in the management of: ISO requirements, documents, audits, claims, nonconformances, and training.
This position is also responsible for continuous improvement and driving improvements in: procedures, work instructions, forms, processes, systems, etc. This includes working closely with process owners and managers to ensure all documents are current and valid.
Manage all aspects of certifications and customer audits. These audits include ISO 9001, RCMS, C-TPAT, cGMP, all customer audits and surveillance visits.
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other senior management, customers and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor, driving assignments to completion in a timely manner.
  • Support the efforts of management in meeting profit and growth objectives as established in the strategic business plan.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and the organizations.
  • Work safely, within the company guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Summary of essential job functions
This job includes the following duties and any other as assigned by current manager:
  • Act as Management Representative for all audits.
  • Schedule and facilitate annual Executive Management reviews.
  • Manage ISO audits and drive audit findings to closure.
  • Manage implementation of and compliance with all quality management systems including documentation, internal and external audits.
  • Schedule, coordinate and conduct internal audits, document findings and oversee implementation of corrective actions.
  • Schedule, coordinate and participate in certification and other external audits, review audit findings and coordinate responses to findings and audit NCRs with appropriate department heads and process owners.
  • The incumbent is the single point of accountability for providing satisfactory responses to all audit NCRs and findings in order to maintain certifications.
  • Periodically review all management system documentation to determine if it is up to date and accurate.
  • Make changes to documentation as needed.
  • Incumbent is responsible for ensuring appropriate storage and control of all management system documents and records.
  • Perform other duties necessary to ensure compliance with management systems and readiness for audits.
  • Research, respond and drive closure to NCRs and service incidents, as needed to ensure timely responses to customers.

  • Utilize and analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop metrics and create standard reports.
