Job description

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ET for 3 weeks
Job Summary:

We are seeking Quality Assurance Coordinators to support the New Jersey State Base Exchange (NJ SBE) Project. The QA Coordinator will monitor and evaluate staff performance, ensure work meets project and contractual standards, identify quality or training gaps, and assist with improving operational performance.

There are 3 openings: 2 monolingual and 1 bilingual English/Spanish. Bilingual proficiency will be verified through an assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate staff work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with performance reports, metrics, and project indicators.
  • Identify staff training and knowledge gaps related to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and performance improvement activities.
  • Maintain and update procedures, quick reference guides, workflows, charts, and other resource materials.
  • Ensure processes and performance meet contractual requirements.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, and routine information clearly and accurately.
  • Perform data entry, document-related, and other back-office support activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of experience; relevant training or education is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new policies and processes quickly.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required for one opening.
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Remote Work Requirements

  • Must work from a private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace.
  • Reliable, wired home internet is required; cellular/mobile internet is not permitted.
  • Personal computer/laptop must meet Maximus BYOD requirements.
  • Second monitor is required.
  • Smartphone capable of supporting Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Must remain on camera during training and nesting.
  • Required security software, including DeviceTRUST, must be installed on the BYOD equipment.


Training & Attendance

Training is 3 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ET. Attendance is critical during training and nesting. Candidates should not have planned appointments or extended absences during this period, as missed training time may result in termination.
