Title: Quality Control Associate

Duration: 3-Month Contract with Possible Extension
Location: Piscataway, NJ 08854
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Schedule: 6:45 AM – 2:45 PM

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to perform routine inspections and testing of finished goods and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on functional testing, inspection, and measurement experience, including experience using calipers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine physical, functional, and physicochemical inspections/testing according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Inspect finished goods and components and accurately document test results.
  • Maintain inspection records, databases, reports, and laboratory inspection plans.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration and ensure equipment remains in proper working condition.
  • Collect, label, store, track, and dispose of samples according to established procedures.
  • Follow SOPs, GMP requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Identify and promptly communicate deviations, non-conformances, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with QC, Production, and other relevant teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Support general QC activities, including sorting/lifting boxes, cleaning laboratory equipment, and assisting with investigations as needed.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience with functional testing and physical inspection.
  • Experience using calipers or precision measurement equipment.
  • Familiarity with SOPs, GMP, quality control, and laboratory/manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 100% onsite environment with a 6:45 AM start time.
