Job Summary:

The Director of Product Delivery is responsible for leading and managing the business analysis activity within the LauraMac organization. This role requires overseeing the team of business analysts in identification of business needs, defining business requirements, writing user stories and ensuring effective solutions are implemented. The Director of Product Delivery collaborates with senior leadership, client stakeholders, and the technical team to drive product roadmaps and implement system enhancements to support our customers' business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts to ensure consistent and high-quality work output.
  • Manage and prioritize a backlog of BA assignments to Jira stories, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives on time and within budget. 
  • Develop and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools for business analysis to improve consistency, quality, and efficiency across the organization. 
  • Act as a quality control within the SDLC that best practices are being adhered to consistently across the organization. 
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to understand strategic business objectives and align the business analysis team's efforts with organizational goals.
  • Conduct in-depth business process analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Ensure that business requirements are clearly communicated to the appropriate technical teams for solution design and implementation.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT departments to ensure alignment on project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Evaluate the performance of business analysis initiatives, ensuring they deliver value to the organization and contribute to its success.
  • Test completed stories in UAT before they are delivered to the client for testing.

Qualifications:

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience in mortgage: due diligence, capital markets or servicing preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and project management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
