What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote quality control plastic inspector?

To thrive as a Remote Quality Control Plastic Inspector, you need a solid understanding of plastic manufacturing processes, quality assurance principles, and relevant industry standards, often supported by a technical degree or quality certification. Familiarity with inspection tools, statistical process control (SPC) software, and documentation systems like ISO 9001 is typically required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are crucial soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure consistent product quality, compliance with specifications, and effective collaboration with remote teams and production staff.

What is a remote quality control plastic job?

Remote Quality Control Plastic jobs involve monitoring and ensuring the quality of plastic products or components, but the work is done remotely instead of on-site. Professionals in these roles use digital tools, video inspections, and data analysis to assess product samples and manufacturing processes. Their main goal is to verify that plastic products meet industry and client standards for quality and safety. These jobs may also include reviewing documentation, coordinating with on-site teams, and reporting any defects or issues that need attention.

What are some common challenges faced in a remote quality control plastic role, and how can they be addressed?

A key challenge in remote quality control for plastics is ensuring consistent communication between production teams and remote inspectors, which can impact the accuracy and timeliness of quality assessments. Additionally, remote workers may have limited physical access to materials, making it crucial to rely on high-quality images, videos, and clear documentation from on-site staff. To overcome these challenges, establishing standardized reporting protocols, regular virtual meetings, and using digital tools for real-time collaboration can significantly enhance workflow and product quality.

As a Senior Manual QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of modern web-based products used by international customers. Working closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams, you will validate new features, identify issues early in the development cycle, and contribute to continuous product improvement. You will be involved throughout the software testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test planning to defect management and release support. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment where quality, autonomy, and continuous learning are highly valued.

  • Estimate testing efforts and contribute to sprint planning and task prioritization.
  • Perform manual functional, regression, acceptance, API, and integration testing across web applications.
  • Review automated test execution results and assist in identifying root causes of failures.
  • Monitor application logs and investigate issues to support efficient defect diagnosis.
  • Deploy application builds to testing and production environments when required.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Collaborate with development and other internal teams to provide testing insights and ensure successful feature delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Manual QA Engineer or in a similar software quality assurance role.
  • Hands-on experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
  • Solid understanding of client-server architecture, HTML/CSS, and WebSockets.
  • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
  • Experience analyzing logs and troubleshooting application issues.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Git, and version control workflows.

  • Experience using browser debugging tools such as DevTools and cross-browser testing platforms like BrowserStack.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Grafana, Sentry, qase.io, or similar quality assurance tools is a plus.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered tools to optimize testing processes is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in the iGaming industry is beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work with the flexibility to work from a location where you feel comfortable and productive.
  • Structured career development supported by regular performance reviews, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
  • Individual learning budget for professional courses, workshops, English language training, and online learning resources.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance and mental health support.
  • Monthly flexible benefits allowance to spend on hobbies, sports, wellness, or personal interests.
  • 20 paid working days of annual leave, public holidays, and paid sick leave.
  • Participation in company events, workshops, and team-building activities.
  • Collaborative culture that encourages innovation, autonomy, open communication, and continuous improvement with minimal bureaucracy.
