• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather pertinent information about clients' trauma histories, thus informing tailored treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, incorporating therapeutic goals that focus on resilience-building and long-term well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to ensure effective intervention.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences, build coping strategies, and foster a supportive group dynamic.
• Collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals is vital to ensure clients receive holistic and integrated care throughout their therapy journey.
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients have immediate access to necessary support and resources.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their support networks.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care and latest research findings.
• Stay informed about advancements in trauma therapy to continually improve the quality of care provided.

You will primarily work with adult individuals affected by various forms of trauma, facilitating healing from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Many clients may come from diverse backgrounds and have unique stories that require individualized and empathetic approaches. Our aim is to empower clients to take control of their recovery process, improving their mental health and overall quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Nevada.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in counseling or clinical settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and individual/group counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer-based applications.
• Collaborative mindset, effectively integrating as a member of a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.

• Experience delivering trauma-informed care and working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities to enhance treatment flexibility and patient engagement.
• Proven ability to apply clinical knowledge in creating and implementing comprehensive treatment plans.
