Job description

As a Research Manager / Senior Research Manager with the Blue Matter Insights team, you will join a
firm with a dynamic and growing team of seasoned market research consultants and have the opportunity
to help grow and build the company. You will work collaboratively with internal and client team members
to address critical business issues in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and deliver value through
providing innovative and actionable insights and solutions to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Successfully execute all aspects of the primary market research process - research design;
    questionnaire / discussion guide development; data collection, analysis and synthesis; and report creation and presentation
  • Participate in project scoping and planning discussions and support the development of market research proposals
  • Employ a broad range of quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies and tools to
    address client business objectives
  • Recommend best practices in data collection and data quality optimization
  • Manage timelines and budgets; coordinate with relevant parties (internal team, external clients, contractors and vendors) to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Collaborate on key insights and recommendation development in conjunction with project team
  • Contribute to building and growing client relationships; maintain a client management focus
  • Serve as a trusted, credible point of contact throughout the market research project
  • Demonstrate appropriate level of decorum with clients, including in challenging situations
  • Present complex ideas in a clear manner; facilitate client meetings and readouts in conjunction with project lead
  • Exhibit an understanding of "big picture", longer-term project / client / account significance

Desired Experience and Skills
  • 3-5 years of quantitative and/or qualitative market research experience within the biopharma industry
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables

Compensation: Base salary range: $105,000 - $145,000 per year. Generous incentive compensation structure
