Location: 100% Remote (CST Hours)
Duration: 4 Months+
We are seeking a self-motivated Quality Assurance (QA) tester with three or more years of experience.
Who you are:
You have a passion for and take pride in ensuring that creative software solutions are built that are defect-free. You have good verbal and written English communication skills and like to share your knowledge. You bring structure the development process, have an independent and professional attitude, work well with others, and can handle complex projects competently. You believe that a problem is "something to be solved" and you can use your creativity, inquisitiveness, and critical thinking to do that.
Requirements
  • Experience in Cypress Open-Source Automation Test Tools
  • Experience with writing and maintaining automated test suites
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases
  • Experience in manual UI testing
  • Experience with backend/database testing and SQL
  • Experience in reading and understanding functional and technical requirements documentation
  • Experience with an Agile development methodology
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel
  • Experience with Wrike or similar project planning/ticket management tool
  • One-time project to fully automate current regression test suite
  • Integrate manual test cases into regression test suite after each dev sprint (long-term)
  • Coordinate and liaise between the testing and product team

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with clients
  • Documenting and distributing meeting minutes
  • Writing business and functional requirements documentation
  • Creating process diagrams and wireframes
  • Managing documentation in appropriate repositories
  • Identifying and documenting scope changes and project risks
  • Researching best practices and potential solutions for clients
  • Writing test and executing cases
  • Automating test scripts for regression testing
  • Keeping automated test scripts up-to-date
  • Identify gaps in test cases based on expected functionality
  • Perform exploratory and risk-based testing (outside of documented functional test cases)
  • Document usability issues
  • Identify and log defects
