Assisted Hand Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a Mental Health Counselor. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing outstanding mental health services, including crisis intervention, comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy, primarily focused on an adult client population.

While working remotely, you will participate actively in virtual team meetings, supervision sessions, and training opportunities, ensuring you remain integrated with our organizational culture and mission.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions, diagnosis, and mental health assessments, creating personalized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to support clients in a collaborative environment, focusing on shared experiences and therapeutic growth.
• Work in partnership with the Oregon Health Authority to manage enrollment and discharge data for clients receiving treatment for problem gambling.
• Engage with community organizations, schools, and social services to coordinate care and have comprehensive joint case planning to enhance service delivery.
• Provide educational resources on behavioral health and addiction prevention to community stakeholders and local organizations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending relevant workshops, conferences, and meetings, applying learned strategies to enhance service performance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality improvement (QA/QI) plans, including policies that promote effective service delivery and client support.
• Complete additional responsibilities as delegated by supervisory staff, contributing to the team's overall effectiveness.

The primary focus of this role centers on working with an adult population who may face a range of behavioral health challenges, including anxiety, depression, addictions, and more. The counselor will engage with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent practices and tailored interventions that address individual and community needs.

The successful candidate must possess a Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), a Master of Social Work, a Master’s in Professional Counseling, or a Master's degree in Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Candidates must also meet the licensure requirements set forth by the state of Oregon and/or Washington.

A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required, demonstrating a robust skill set in mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and community resources in Oregon is preferred.
