Position Overview

Assisted Hand Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position allows you to make a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of our clients. You will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to provide comprehensive mental health services.

About the Organization

Assisted Hand Medical Group is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services that prioritize the mental wellness of our communities. Our mission is centered around providing accessible and effective mental health treatments, and we strive to foster an environment that encourages healing, growth, and recovery. With a clientele that varies in backgrounds and mental health needs, we focus on patient-centered care that encompasses various forms of therapy and interventions.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still connecting with clients through telehealth services. You will be supported by a collaborative team structure, including regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. Our outpatient office setting emphasizes a supportive culture that values continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and diagnoses to tailor effective treatment plans for clients.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on therapeutic interventions to aid in client recovery.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients in need, ensuring appropriate resources and referrals are made when necessary.
  • Collaborate with external community agencies and the Oregon Health Authority to ensure comprehensive care coordination, particularly for clients requiring problem gambling treatment.
  • Actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions to enhance skills and provide peer support.
  • Engage in ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives, developing policies and procedures to optimize organizational effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about current developments in mental health practices by attending workshops and conferences, incorporating this knowledge into client service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an adult population, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Your work will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes as you develop relationships built on trust and empathy, facilitating clients' recovery journeys and helping them attain their personal goals.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), Master of Social Work, Master in Professional Counseling, or a Master of Family Therapy degree from a nationally accredited institution. Additionally, candidates must fulfill the licensure requirements for Oregon and/or Washington.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of experience working in a clinical setting is required. Candidates with a background in outpatient behavioral health services or experience working with diverse populations will be given preference. Experience in group therapy facilitation is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) matching, helping you to plan for your future financial security.
  • Health, dental, and life insurance to support your wellbeing and peace of mind.
  • Flexible spending accounts to help manage out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training to enhance your clinical skills.
Career Growth Opportunities

Assisted Hand Medical Group is dedicated to fostering career advancement and professional development. We encourage continual education and mentorship programs that empower counselors to deepen their expertise and explore leadership roles within the organization. Your growth is as important to us as the care you provide our clients.

Why Join Our Team
