• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients facing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Engage directly with clients through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, working towards their healing and recovery goals.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery, participating in regular team meetings to align on client objectives.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, employing your expertise to stabilize clients’ situations and facilitate appropriate ongoing care.
• Maintain an active caseload, routinely updating progress notes and treatment plans in a timely manner, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems as necessary.
• Participate in on-call coverage to address urgent client needs during and after program hours.
• Contribute to organizational improvement by working on committees focused on enhancing service delivery and promoting quality assurance initiatives.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience as a mental health counselor, with a demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat diverse mental health conditions.
• Holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possesses current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients and documenting care.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities, ensuring the effective management of a caseload and adherence to timelines.

Experience working in community health settings is highly valued, and familiarity with electronic health record systems will enhance your efficiency in this role.
