Full Stack UI Developer

At Outside Analytics we're on the ground floor of helping across the future remote sensing ecosystem across all orbital regimes (LEO, MEO, HEO, and GEO)! We build, integrate, and operationally support our customer's emerging space-ground systems to include real-time data processing frameworks, sensor data processing, and data visualization. We are teamed with the most passionate companies in industry, dedicated to bringing best-of-breed capabilities to address our customers most pressing needs.

We are seeking a Full Stack UI Developer to contribute to the DoD Space Force National Security mission. This candidate ideally comes with a strong background in Java, JavaScript (JS), React, and Python to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces and a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) projects and Gitlab is a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work on various devices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Utilize Gitlab for project management and tracking.
  • Apply DoD standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Secret clearance (ability to obtain Secret clearance, i.e. U.S. Citizenship required)
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java, JavaScript (JS), React, and/or Python.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/ React
  • Experience with back-end development, including Python
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Gitlab.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with DoD projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Gitlab for project management.
  • A passion for learning and staying current with industry trends.
