JOB OVERVIEW
This Business Analyst I position, located within the Enterprise Technology Services team, is responsible for conducting modeling and data analysis to support Net Health's analytics, BI, and AI-enabled solutions. This position will report to the Manager of Enterprise Data and will partner with leaders across the Center of Excellence (CoE) and Net Health Business Units to drive data enablement within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Design, build, and document semantic and medallion models that support BI dashboards and AI/LLM-driven analytics tools (e.g., natural language querying, Cortex Analyst-style agents).
  • Advocate for Net Health's data-driven culture by publishing and documenting data sources, building knowledge resources that support data literacy, and enable self-service for business users across skill levels.
  • Analyze results and ensure the integrity of data in the warehouse by identifying gaps, correcting inaccuracies discovered, and helping improve data governance processes.
  • Partner with senior analysts and engineers on testing and documentation standards for model development.
  • Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
  • Partner with the business to design, build, and audit key dashboards in Tableau and/or Streamlit.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum process to refine, prioritize, and build solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Remain current on trends and product offerings within the technical and analytical spaces, and maximize effectiveness by researching new tools, techniques, and best practices, with the desire to learn new technologies/frameworks to strive for greater functionality within our data systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or similar, or equivalent work experience. Open to recent graduates and non-traditional backgrounds.
  • 1-2 years of experience using SQL languages to create and manipulate data in relational databases and data warehouses such as Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, etc.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau, Streamlit, Power BI, etc.
  • Some experience explaining technical or data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Interest in data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling, semantic layers) a plus.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization concepts.
