Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Sr Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
Frameworks: Angular, Spring Boot, and Jest;
Angular 16+ and TypeScript;
RxJS and Observable patterns;
Angular CLI, Standalone Components, and Dependency Injection;
State management (NgRx);
Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript;
HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, XML, JSON, and REST;
Oracle 12c database;
Version control (Git);
Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners;
Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases;
Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy;
Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives;
Web application and Mobile application development using Ionic; and
Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally and Confluence.
Pay Range: $156998.00/year to $185400.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
