Job description

The Arcticom Group is seeking an innovative AI Automation & Solutions Lead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential to our mission of harnessing cutting-edge technology to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. As an AI Automation & Solutions Lead, you will spearhead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions that optimize workflows and drive efficiency across our projects, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the technology industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the design and integration of AI solutions, analyzing business processes to identify automation opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders to define project scopes and deliverables. Your expertise will guide the strategic direction of AI initiatives, from conceptualization to deployment, while continuously evaluating performance metrics and driving improvements. You will also mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
The ideal candidate is comfortable writing code - Python, JavaScript, or similar - to build automations, process data, and extend AI capabilities beyond off-the-shelf tools. You stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and know how to get the most out of leading AI platforms and productivity tools, including AI-integrated applications for spreadsheets, document workflows, and desktop task automation. Beyond AI tooling, you bring strong data analysis skills: you can turn raw data into actionable insight, build dashboards, and use quantitative findings to drive decisions. A robust background in AI and automation technologies, combined with a proven track record managing complex projects, rounds out the profile. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will set you apart.
What makes this opportunity truly exciting is the chance to lead transformative projects that impact not only our organization but also the broader technology landscape. At The Arcticom Group, you will work alongside passionate professionals in a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and growth. If you are ready to make a significant impact in the realm of AI and automation, we invite you to apply and be part of our vision for the future.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development and deployment of AI-driven solutions using best-fit tools across the AI ecosystem (including leading LLMs, AI-integrated productivity apps, and automation platforms)
  • Write code - Python, JavaScript, or similar - to build custom automations, data pipelines, and integrations that extend AI capabilities beyond off-the-shelf solutions
  • Automate spreadsheet workflows, data cleansing, formula generation, and reporting using AI-integrated tools within Microsoft Excel and other productivity platforms
  • Orchestrate file management, task automation, and cross-application workflows using AI-powered desktop tools to improve team productivity
  • Drive data analysis initiatives: build dashboards, interpret datasets, and surface actionable insights to inform business decisions
  • Optimize workflows and business processes across projects through automation and AI tooling
  • Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and quantify potential impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and success metrics
  • Guide the strategic direction of AI initiatives from conceptualization through deployment
  • Mentor team members in AI tools, automation best practices, and data literacy
  • Evaluate performance metrics and continuously drive improvements
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects successfully from kickoff to completion

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, automation, or related technology roles
  • Coding proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar language - able to write scripts, automations, and lightweight applications independently
  • Hands-on experience with leading AI platforms and productivity tools; familiarity with AI-integrated applications for spreadsheets, document workflows, and desktop automation (e.g., Claude for Excel, Claude Cowork, Copilot, or equivalent)
  • Strong data analysis skills: ability to work with structured datasets, build reports or dashboards, and translate findings into business recommendations (experience with Excel, SQL, Python, or BI tools a plus)
  • Proven track record managing and delivering complex AI or automation projects
  • Robust background in AI and automation technologies and platforms
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar)
  • Certifications in AI, data analytics, project management, or relevant coding/development skills preferred
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
