Position Overview

This role is responsible for driving sales growth within a food manufacturing environment by developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts. The position serves as a key commercial partner, working cross-functionally with Product Development, Operations, and Quality teams to deliver customer-focused solutions, bring new products to market, and increase volume, revenue, and profitability.

Responsibilities

   Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities 
   Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase volume, profitability, and product penetration 
   Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations 
   Lead customer presentations, product pitches, and business reviews 
   Identify customer needs and translate them into actionable product and packaging solutions 
   Partner with Product Development and Operations to successfully launch new products and meet customer expectations 
   Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets and margin goals 
   Forecast sales, track performance, and proactively adjust strategies to meet or exceed goals 
   Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms while protecting company margins 
   Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities 
   Ensure alignment with food safety, quality standards (e.g., SQF), and regulatory requirements in all customer solutions 
   Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed 
   Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that impact customer success 
   Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Education

   Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field preferred 

Experience

   3+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in food manufacturing, CPG, or B2B ingredient sales

This individual is highly motivated, competitive, and customer-focused, with the ability to build trust and deliver value-driven solutions.
