Job Title: Project Executive-Commercial Construction Projects Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $1,400,000.00 - $1,750,000.00 Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Overview The Project Executive for Integrated Solutions - Delivery is responsible for Contract execution, Client satisfaction, business development, contract negotiations with vendors/subcontractors, employee development, responsible for the financial performance of large and/or multiple projects, and promoting the company culture

Responsibilities

  • Manage all project team members including Project Administrators, Project Accountants, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents across multiple projects and geographies.
  • Champion project safety and risk management initiatives to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and Superintendents to support career growth.
  • Oversee project financials, communicate financial status to leadership, and manage contract terms and negotiations.
  • Develop and oversee subcontract and purchase order exhibits for scope buyouts.
  • Coordinate schedule development with project teams to meet energy savings and project deadlines.
  • Monitor and manage change management, progress billings, and project status updates.
  • Ensure accurate monthly reporting and lead monthly project meetings.
  • Collaborate with project teams to verify financial forecasts and resolve open risk issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project delivery aligned with energy and financial goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors.
  • Uphold company policies and promote ethical and professional behaviors within project teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of verifiable experience in large-scale commercial construction projects over $20M, including sectors such as higher education, healthcare, technology, life sciences, and office buildings.
  • Design-build experience is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, with applicable field experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve issues, motivate teams, and manage complex situations.
  • Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., Procore), and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% to job sites and offices.
  • Physical requirements include climbing stairs, standing or sitting for extended periods, and handling objects up to 20 pounds.
