We are an experienced team of industry experts dedicated to helping readers make smart decisions and choose the right products with ease. Forbes Advisor boasts decades of experience across dozens of geographies and teams, including Content, SEO, Business Intelligence, Finance, HR, Marketing, Production, Technology and Sales. The team brings rich industry knowledge to Forbes Advisor's global coverage of consumer credit, debt, health, home improvement, banking, investing, credit cards, small business, education, insurance, loans, real estate and travel.
Forbes Advisor is hiring! We are searching for a Senior Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in scaling our business formation and management platform.
Reporting to the Head of Product, SMB, you'll own new product and platform development across the portfolio. You'll be responsible for identifying new service opportunities, building from concept to launch, scaling our platforms to support new use-cases and exponential customer growth, and automating core operational workflows that power our business. You'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to drive product discovery, development, and delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and influence the key areas of our business while working in an environment that values innovation, creativity, and adaptability.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead 0-to-1 product discovery and delivery, taking new service offerings from early hypothesis through customer validation, MVP, and scaled launch.
  • Identify and evaluate new product and service opportunities across the customer journey, including scoping market size, customer demand, the competitive landscape, and unit economics to inform what to build next.
  • Optimize and scale the core platform to support new use cases, additional product lines, and exponential customer growth.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, analytics, and commercial, to deliver best-in-class product experiences from concept through to release and beyond.
  • Design and automate core operational workflows that power the business, reducing friction and unit costs while improving customer experience and unlocking throughput.
  • Partner with sales, LCM, marketing, and partnership teams to define GTM strategy, inform product decisions, and validate demand, to accelerate product-market fit and achieve commercial targets.
  • Define and manage a structured product backlog. Clearly prioritise initiatives based on impact, resource availability, and strategic alignment, while staying responsive to new information.
  • Track performance across key metrics post-launch, identifying areas of improvement and driving iterative enhancements post-launch.
  • Act as the central point of communication across the business for your product area, ensuring transparency, managing stakeholder expectations, and aligning on shared outcomes.
  • Play a key role in refining product development practices across the team, bringing experience, structure, and a proactive mindset to each challenge.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of building 0-1 products and evolving platforms to support customer and product-line growth.
  • Experience designing and launching workflow automations, operational tooling, or integrations that materially reduce cost or improve throughput at scale.
  • Deep empathy for small business users and experience designing products for SMBs, solopreneurs, or individual business owners making high-consideration decisions.
  • Confident working across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and definition to delivery and iteration.
  • Comfortable with SQL, product analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, or similar), and financial modeling.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to define and track performance metrics, and use insights to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, matched with proficiency in modern prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) to communicate ideas effectively across stakeholders.
  • Curious, collaborative, and proactive in identifying new opportunities or resolving blockers
