• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, diagnosing conditions based on established clinical criteria.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating techniques from evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.
• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions tailored to the diverse needs of clients, ensuring a safe and empathetic therapeutic space.
• Offer timely crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, facilitating immediate coping strategies to stabilize their mental state.
• Maintain precise documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of practice.
• Collaborate effectively with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and pediatricians, to develop a holistic approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their families on various mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, online training, and networking opportunities to ensure adherence to the best practices in mental health therapy.

Public Health Counseling Services serves a wide array of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families from varied backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and behavioral challenges. • Must hold a current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington State.
• Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Minimum of two years of related experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in a community health clinic setting, particularly with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and modalities to enhance remote therapy sessions.
